friendly staff helpful explanation efficient service
i found the staff friendly. donna at the bar explained the facilities well. courtney in the restaurant was efficient. the christmas decorations added a lovely touch (i stayed in december).
the spa lounge bed covers had slight discoloration stains.

breakfast included yogurt and muesli. i noticed various marmalades and sliced salmon. the coffee tasted excellent. a chef prepared english breakfasts with scrambled eggs, bacon, and beans.

a lady named linda remembered what guests ordered for breakfast the day before. i saw a gentleman from sri lanka cleaning and asking guests if they needed anything. he checked on drink top-ups between 10 am and 11 pm.

the spa offered a range of treatments and a relaxation area. i could see the pool was available for swimming. there was a lounge bar. christmas decorations were tastefully displayed.

the hotel is near a waterfall (donna gave me tips for visiting). the surrounding area includes woodland. several beaches are easily accessible by car. it is not far from north wales attractions.

amazing stay!
spacious chalet gorgeous roof pool towels
the two-bedroom chalet was a great size for my family! we enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the evening using our camping chairs. the pool area had a gorgeous glass roof and reception gave us towels to use, which i loved!!!
i did notice a few cobwebs in the chalet, which wasn't ideal.

the staff were so friendly and eager to please!!! they happily let us sit down to eat when we were late for breakfast. the service really stood out during my time.

some issues need fixin
daily room cleaning spider webs
the spa facilities were included, a plus.
the lack of daily room cleaning frustrated me. there wasn't housekeeping each day, which i found inconvenient. also, the area outside the cabins wasn't well kept, with spider webs everywhere. this gave the resort an unkempt look.

The location was lovely, i was greeted warmly and directed to my chalet. the grounds feature beautifully maintained christmas decorations! the lounge area is fine and the spa offered peace and relaxation. breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. The view during breakfast was amazing.
The chalet could have been a little cleaner. There were cup marks on the table.

breakfast offered many choices. i saw an english breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, and potato cakes. there was also yogurt, muesli, various jams, sliced salmon, orange juice, and good coffee.

Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Nia was helpful at reception. another staff member from sri lanka was cleaning and checking with guests regarding their needs. linda in the restaurant was great too!

The one-bedroom pet-friendly chalet was spacious. It had a living area, basic kitchen, comfy bedroom, and bathroom. the bathroom includes a walk-in shower. the chalet was also warm, clean and modern. the bed was really comfy!

The restaurant served top class breakfasts! Fresh food was available, with a plenty of choice. The swimming pool and sauna area were very nice. They were also clean.
I arrived and was told there were no towels available at reception. I did manage to get a robe after about 15 minutes, but it felt unnecessarily difficult. A water fountain was not available at the gym, so I needed to use the vending machine.

fantastic short stay
good atmosphere friendly staff self-contained cabin
i enjoyed the sports bar. it had a good atmosphere. the view restaurant served a great roast dinner. i found the staff to be friendly. and attentive. the option of a self-contained cabin was also great

super clean cabin daily refresh warm dressing gowns
the cabin was super clean and had everything needed, even tea and coffee. i was impressed that staff emptied and refreshed the hot tub daily. dressing gowns were a warm welcome after using the hot tub.
the tv in the bedroom had no remote at all.
